Common questions
How do I play?
Tap Start Game, pick one or more decks, name your teams, and choose a round length. When it’s your team’s turn, the guesser holds the phone sideways on their forehead with the screen facing the room. Teammates give clues. Tilt down for Correct, tilt up to Pass. When the clock runs out, the next team goes. Most points wins.
Tilting isn't registering, or it triggers too easily.
Go to Settings → Calibrate Tilt. Have the guesser hold the phone on their forehead, looking straight ahead, and tap Set Neutral Position. Then adjust Sensitivity: Quick needs a smaller tilt, Relaxed needs a bigger one. After each answer, bring the phone back to level before the next tilt counts.
Can we play without tilting?
Yes. The big Correct and Pass buttons work anytime, so a teammate can tap instead. You can also turn tilt off in Settings.
The screen didn't rotate to landscape.
VibeRoom switches to landscape automatically when a game starts. If the screen stays in portrait, turn the phone sideways once. The game still works either way.
How do I restore my expansion decks on a new phone?
Open Home → Decks (or Settings) and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy them.
What's included with the app?
Five decks with 30 prompts each: Black Culture Mix, Music & Entertainment, Sports, HBCUs & College Life, and Family & Friends. Throwback Era, Movie & TV Night, and Party Starters are optional one-time add-ons. There are no subscriptions or ads.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does VibeRoom need Wi-Fi?
No. VibeRoom works completely offline. A connection is only used when buying or restoring decks.
