Secure Lanes, LLC ("Secure Lanes," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Secure Lanes mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password.

Profile Information: For technicians, we collect professional experience, skill certifications, and identity verification documents.

Service Information: We collect details about services you book or provide, including addresses, scheduling information, and job notes.

Payment Information: Payment data is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. We retain transaction records and payout information.

Location Information: With your permission, we collect location data to match you with nearby technicians and to enable real-time tracking during jobs.

Device Information: We collect device identifiers, operating system version, app version, and IP address for security and diagnostic purposes.

Communications: We collect messages sent through the in-app chat and any correspondence with our support team.

We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; match customers with available technicians; process payments and payouts; send booking confirmations, updates, and receipts; provide customer support; detect and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and send promotional communications (with your consent).

We do not sell your personal information. We share information in the following circumstances:

Between users: Customers and technicians see limited profile information (name, ratings) needed to complete a booking.

Service providers: We share information with Stripe (payments), Firebase (infrastructure), SendGrid (email), and Twilio (SMS) as necessary to operate the Service.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and associated personal data; opt out of marketing communications at any time; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Effective Date and, where appropriate, sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
